Typeplace is a mobile app that lets you discover and share amazing typography around the globe. I’m seeing a lot of this project that let’s you share signage that you come across especially on flickr1 but none of this let’s you share the location where you can get a chance to see it for yourself.

The app is available for $1.99 in the App Store. Currently there are no Typeplace users here in the Philippines but I hope this can change in the future so we can have our own amazing typography tour around Manila. The developers are currently working on a way to browse the collection on the browser on their official Typeplace site. Sharing is relatively easy, you can take a photo directly within the app or add using your camera roll. I’m currently sharing one of my gig poster I designed placed on my wall as seen on the screenshot above. If you decide to purchase Typeplace add me up, my ID is wiredfractal.
